Friends are important. When you have kids, jobs, responsibilities, sometimes friends take a back seat. This girl hops in the front seat at a moments notice whenever I need her. I don’t know how she balances it all with her family, her full time job, coaching and mentoring high school kiddos, balancing her role as a pastor’s wife, and being a friend to all of the struggling mama’s like me who need her. (…that’s a lot of people, btw.) She’s one of those few genuine people that you know you can be real with and she will get ‘real’ right back at you. I pray that my kids will grow up to be as confident, caring, empathetic, balanced, and well mannered as the Douglass girls. They certainly have some wonderful role models to look up to in their parents. We love you, Douglass Fam!
